$10,000 Cherry Show-n-Shine
Premier Judged Car Competition
The $10,000 Cherry Show-n-Shine held during Street Heat, Reno's Hottest Car Show at Grand Sierra Resort offer a total cash purse of ten thousand dollars. Total cash awards and prizes will be distributed among top finalists and category winners making it one of the largest single venue cash prize car shows in Reno.
Vehicle Eligibility
- Model Years and Type: 1979 and older cars, pickups/trucks
- All qualifying vehicles must be registered as a 2026 Street Heat participant
Judging Location, Times and Awards
Vehicles are judged by a professional three-person team on restoration quality, originality, craftsmanship and overall presentation. All judging will take place in front of the main stage. All vehicles to be judged, must line-up at that location.
Daily Preliminaries
Four (4) daily winners, one from each of these categories: Chevrolet, Ford, Mopar and Pickup/Truck.
- Wednesday, August, 5
- Judging: 10:00am–2:00pm
- Presentation of Winners: 6:00pm in front of Main Stage
- Awards*: Ribbons awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places
- Thursday, August, 6
- Judging: 10:00am–2:00pm
- Presentation of Winners: 6:00pm in front of Main Stage
- Awards*: Ribbons awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places
- Friday, August, 7
- Judging: 10:00am–2:00pm
- Presentation of Winners: 6:00pm in front of Main Stage
- Awards*: Ribbons awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places
Best of Show
*Best of Show judging will only be for the 1st and 2nd place winners from each of the Daily Preliminaries.

6th Place: GSR Gift Card
5th Place: $500 Cash
4th Place: $1,000 Cash
3rd Place: $1,500 Cash
